    Earlier this week, immediately following dinner, I felt some discomfort - especially gas and heartburn. At the time I figured a good BM would solve the problem. Pain progressively increased and could not sleep. Thought it might be a case of kidney stones and 3 or 4 hours later I knew there was an issue requiring attention. [more..]

    A few times during the last couple of months, I noticed I wasn’t feeling up to par, and my energy level wasn’t usual. I also noticed increase gas and bloating, and also a change in bowel movements. I remember also a couple of times feeling a tender spot on the lower right quadrant of the abdomen.     I have rheumatoid arthritis and tend to pain I may have. TEN years ago I told my GP that my right side hurt. He pushed and prodded and diagnosed me with a very minor hernia. “When it starts to really bother you, we’ll look into doing something for it.” It still hurt months later, so to rule out his original diagnosis, I had a colonscopy [colonoscopy] (nothing) and then an exploratory endoscopy to check out my female parts (a little cyst on right ovary).
