Still looking for the cause of the pain!

In February 2008 I went to the local Emergency room for pain in my lower right stomach area. The doctors said I ad a large cyst on my ovary and sent me to my gynecologist for it to be removed. My gyno would not do a full hysterectomy because of my age(29). That surgery was in March 2008 with an open incision. After the surgery I still had alot of pain on my right side but my Doctor said it was just the nerves on the inside healing. I went to the emergency room again in May 2008 because the pain was so bad I was unable to sleep. I had an emergency appendectomy done that day. The surgeon said he was unable to see the appendix clearly on CT scan because of the scar tissue from my first surgery but out it came anyway. It is now 3 weeks later and I am still having the pain with spotting, swolen belly, and low grade fever. My new gynecologist now wants to do an exploritory surgery to try to find the source of the pain.
I am just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what it could be or if there is anyone else that has went through the same or similar things. My mother has a friend that went through the same procedures before finding endemtriosis and doing a full hysterectomy
