To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Something to consider! I found a lump in my right breast. I immediately called my ob/gyn and had the visit. They felt the lump and because of my strong family history with breast cancer they recommended an ultrasound and to see a surgeon I had the ultrasound which showed a cluster of cysts which appeared benign. They did a mammogram and a ductogram. All showed benign. The surgeon still insisted on a breast biopsy because of family history just to make sure. He did the surgery and it went well. When the results came back I was surprised to find out that they removed some of my ducts and surrounding tissues along with the cluster of cysts. And good thing too because they had removed precancer! What a blessing. Always trust your instincts. I knew when I felt that lump I knew I would have cancer if I didn’t get it taken care of as weird as that may sound. Thanks to my wonderful surgeon I don’t have cancer at least for now! Comments
