I’m in my 5th week of recovery from my colon resection Everyday I am feeling better and stronger. I just wish I knew what to expect. I wish there was someone to talk to about recovery. I mean people who have had knee surgery share their stories all the time. I realize this is a much different surgery but, it would be nice for those whom have gone through this to share their stories. Thank you Kim! The doctors are great but, they do not tell you what to expect. I think that there should be more information on how people are doing with their recovery. My recovery is; Everyday I wake up and I say a prayer. My day consist of taking walks and each day I add more distance to my walk. I increase my daily activity a little bit in the area of housing cleaning. I do not lift anything. I hope to be going back to work soon. One thing is for sure this experience has taught me one of lifes greatest lessons: patience and gratitude. Comments
