Colon Resection

I had a colon resection 11 days ago and I’m very surprised I’m feeling so well already. The first couple days were pretty rough but after about 6 day’s I was off my pains medication.….My colon resecions was due to diverticulosis…The surgeon took only the part of the sigmoid that had the pockets…It was done laproscopic…….I had a bad flare up with my diverticulitis in January and spend four day’s in the hosptial and was given three different IV antibotics…I did recover from that somewhat but was off and on not feeling well so they decided surgery was the best option for me….I wanted to share my story because surgery can be scary but my experience with this surgery has been way better than I imagined……………..
