Colon Resection

All this is scaring me. I have to have this done along with removing my gallbladder. They say they will do it laparoscopically. Haven’t met with the surgeon yet. Had no idea the recovery time was so long. Note to Pam: just had a colonoscopy. Was put to sleep and it was fine, just lots of gas afterwards. The worst part is the stuff you have to drink before to clean you out. It’s vile!!! Do you have to drink this stuff before the colon operation? I really, really hope not. And I really hope I don’t need a colostomy bag even if it’s temporary.
