To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download abcess, fistula amd hemmorhoids I am the a mother of 2 with chronic constipation most of my life. Well about 2 months ago I had really bad anal pain and bleeding when I had a bowel movement. I finally broke down and went to see a colon and rectal doctor and he told me I had an abcess that was draining in a small hole next to my anus, fissure probabaly from childbirth or a hard bowel movement and a fistula. When he said I needed surgery I just couldn’t believe it. I was terrified. We made the appointent for 2 weeks and I went home. Today is 6 days post op and I am just now starting to feel better. I was taking 2 percocets every 4 hours and it did not stop the pain after surgery. My incision was deep and long. It does look better now. I am so glad I had the surgery and am hoping and praying I do not develop a new fistula, which can happen. I had rubber band ligation on the hemorrhoids, and I don’t know if they have come out yet. Hope this helps someone. Comments
