A Bump on my bum
by: Brian on Mon, Feb 04 2008

I had finished work one night & while having a shower I had notice that I had a lump on my rear end. After closer inspection I had thought that this was an blind pimple on my ass. After days of monitoring the lump it began to get bigger & became extremially painful to the extent I could not stand up or walk.

I asked my wife while in severe pain to take me to the nearest doctor. Upon arriving at the doctors only to fing out that I had to wait for several minutes which felt like hours. soon after I had seen the doctor & he had said its nothing & had given me some antibitocs to releve the pain.

The next night while watching TV I askes my wife to look & tell me what she had sore. After I had dropped my dacks she had said oohhh my god that huge I dont want to touch it. I then laid down to watch TV some more only soon after to feel that it was discharching.

I had finally felt some releif when I had burst the skin that was holding back the pus that had biult up in side me.

After several weeks & going through Xmas with toilet tissue between my ass cheeks & while also being very uncomfortable I manged to get a referal to a sugen who had said I have a Fistula which I had not heard of before. Some weeks pass & the day comes where I have this thing removed from my back side & what releif I no longer have this thing in my ass which I have squessed out fluid each day for the last 4 weeks. After the sugery there is some disscharge from the cut but nothing compares to the releif of removing the fistula from my bum

I was diagnosed with a perirectal abscess on September. It was so large I couldn’t walk! My colorectal surgeon said it needed to be drained right away. He told me he could get me into the E.R. the next day, or that he could do it now under local. [more..]
  • Thank you MW - by SH - (Mon, Feb 11 2008)
My abscess didn’t end up being septic, thankfully, but was still some of the most intense pain that I have ever experienced. I want to thank MW for writing the following paragraph: ” One problem, abscesses are hard to numb under a local depending on the severity. Mine didn’t numb. I told the physician assistant that I could feel the first cut and he said that it was just pressure…I KNOW PRESSURE AND THAT WASN’T IT! [more..]
