I developed a horseshoe fistula ( one internal opening, and two external) after having a rectal abscess in feb 07 . I thought I had hemmroids [hemorrhoids]. It was excruciating to use the bathroom, and I was feeling VERY sick so I finally went into the ER.

I had this proceedure done on Tuesday. It is now Saturday. its is still uncomfortable and annoying but it is definatley on the mend.

My abscess was very painful. I passed two kidney stones in my mid 20s. They did not compare to the feeling of being ripped in half while sneezing.
