My fistulotomy - two months on…
by: Fran on Mon, Aug 25 2008
Facebook Twitter

I posted here in June after my fistulotomy I said I’d report back, so here I am. The surgery has been a great success to date. It took about six weeks for the incision to close over (twice daily salt/sitz baths are a must!), but since then, it’s been great - so great I don’t even think about it any more, and it was always somewhere in my mind previously. So, who knows what the future holds, but for now, life’s good. It’s a scary business, but for those of you still in the throes of the awful impact this has on your life, hang in there… Cheers from Oz
