Fistulotomy Question *Help*

I just had a Fistulotomy a week ago and was wondering is it normal to be in pain during each bowel movement? The pain/burning lasts for about an hour after each bowel movement and then subsides. Just wondering if this is the part that can take 1 to 2 months to go away.
