To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download sitting preety good I had my surgery about 4 days ago. I have hemmroids [hemorrhoids] for about 15 years now and they became worse after the birth of my second child. I was apprehensive at first about the surgery because of the side affects and so forth but to be honest, besides the pain it wasn’t that bad. My surgery only lasted about an hour and I was sent home on a high fiber diet, pain medication and instructions on taking as many warm baths as possible. These baths became my best friend. The pain medication they gave me really didn’t take away the pain it just made me think it did. (if that makes any sense). I have a couple lumps on the outside of my anus and I called my doctor’s office and the nurse said it was from the inside swelling and that it would go down and eventually go back into my anus, which didn’t make much sense but I’ll see in a few weeks when my appointment is due. Otherwise, I have had two BM’s which hurted like heck and I still have some light bleeding going on. I have been drinking metamucil each day..taking dulcolox stool softner and just trying to take it easy because every now and then when I walk I get what I think is called “spasms”? which feels like someone just poked me in my butt real quick with a screwdriver and I jump up in pain.
