Hemmroidectomy= 3 wks post surgery

I was diagnosed with hemmroids after giving birth to my daughter, nothing over the counter worked, I had them for 5 years. Had them removed, I gotta say the first week was the worst, and after that it gradually got better.

I can say now that I am mostly comfortable, still tender on some things. The greatest thing for me was taking warm showers and using anti-bacterial soap. After every bowel-movement I would take a warm shower to help clean and relax myself, it wasen’t fun but helped greatly. I did have problems with having a full bowel-movement, I had to go 3 to 4 times to get rid of everything, but that has improved to.

I see improvements every week, my first post-op check-up was good. Good luck to all, its not fun, but in my case it was worth it.
