Post surgery care

My hemorrhoidectemy was done on March 27th. I was concerned about the post surgery issues since I had read the experiences of others that had this procedure. They were very negative. My experience was not bad. The first day home was painless as I was still under the affects of the anesthesia from surgery. The second day was the most uncomfortable, however not as bad as I thought it would be. I had grade 4 hemorrhoids which are the worst. The key is to follow the post care instructions to the max. The sits baths are the key. After two weeks I am feeling fine with no pain. I still have more healing to do but I am glad that I had this procedure done.
