i had my surgery on the 17th of july it is very important to drink plenty of water and that your meds dont make you constipated i was constipated for a week my bm were very big and hard which caused me terrible pain

I am 5 days out from my hemorrhoidectomy which was on July 21st 2009 after two weeks of horrible pain from a flare-up of IBS. I have had the hemorrhoids since the birth of my son 27 years ago and they have been a nuisance but nothing like this time.

- Hemorrhoidectomy Experience - by TD - (Mon, Jul 06 2009)
On June 26th I was in a colorectal surgeon’s office because one of my external hemorrhoids thrombosed. That had never happened before and I never wanted it to happen again as the pain was excrutiating until he removed the clot.
