To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Hemorrhoidectomy i had my surgery on the 17th of july it is very important to drink plenty of water and that your meds dont make you constipated i was constipated for a week my bm were very big and hard which caused me terrible pain but i got DULCOLAX its a laxative very strong only need 10m the first night but not that much any more because it very painful if you over do it i am 13 days now after surgery its still very sore but the pain is not all day anymore just in the toilet it dose get better after the first ten days my doctor said you should give recovery three weeks i have small lumps too which i thought were the piles returned but he said they will go its swelling from the surgery those of you who are on there first week dont get constipated take strong laxatives for your first bm and after that just take a small amount to keep bm soft and hot baths will ease the pain a little be brave dont get depressed it might feel like your surgery has gone wrong because nothing could be this painful but its normal to be in terrible pain for a couple of weeks following surgery if you have family and friends let them come in and help with day to day jobs so you dont get to down July 2009
