To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download hemmoroidectomy I had a partial hemmorhoidectomy(HE)with THD on Friday the 11th. I barely ate the day before and all fibre filled soft foods before that. I continued on that diet and did take mineral oil and prune juice the day of surgery(after) and each day beyond. I drink one gallon of purified water a day. My prolasped Hem was surgically removed and I have stitches. The internal Hems were cut off via a suture using the THD method. I was completely out during the procedure. I did awaken in pain and was given morphine. I had minor discomfort the rest of the day, but felt the morphine made my first stool a bit hard, although the small bowel movement that night was bearable. I did take a warm and long shower after the BM, applied neosporin with lidocaine and slept through the night only taking two tylenol. The next day my stool was soft and I had 3 BMS and same warm shower and neosporin afterwards. Same the next two days, going from 2 movements and then one. It is day five today and I continue to gaurd my diet and have been faring quite well. The wound is a bit swollen and I can see the stitches that will dissolve in time. I am getting plenty of rest, eating right, drinking much, taking vitamins, and continue to thank God. I did take Vitamin K and goldenseal the day before my surgery and will continue for a week. I don’t recommend this personally, but called my local health food store and they said it would be a good idea. I did not use any pain medication as tylenol sufficed and from fear of constipation.
