Hemorrhoidectomy

Got it done 3 days ago,and as I collected info that helped me after the surgery, I’m sharing what’s working for me:
My main concern is inflammation and pain,( didn’t get any suggestions from Dc about this )so was prescribed phercoset which constipated me and gave me more inflamation option for ER to get treated,no solution available but wait till they disolve, changed to Tramacet another pain killer without Codeine, which works for me ,every 4 hrs I take a pill(37.5 mg)besides a warm bath a wanted adding epson salt, ( really calms down)but also added Proctosedyl an oinmentto reduce swelling and keep the area moist,another pain killer ointment you can try and I did too, is Xylocaine 5%,
really cant understand why the surgeon didnt provide me with this alternative solution before I had to call him twice and be visited once in E.R room.
this cream are doing wonder for me, and dont forget Metamucill twice a day teaspoon,and a stool softener.good luck,if doctor would had educated me before surgery, most likely I would had pass/
