Nissen surgery compilications

I had a Nissen Surgery back in 2006. at first it was great, however I have since undergone 3 other major intestinal surgeries. During this round I had severe nausea and could not vomit (due to the Nissen)I ended up in the ER with a NG tube and bowel obstruction. After going through all of this I would not do this surgery again due to the inability to vomit.

I had this surgery a couple of years ago after suffering through the pain and suffering of GERD and all the nastiness that accompanies it, i.e. raw throat, diminished speech, regurgitating after meals, the horrible middle of the night acid reflux and aspiration of acid into the lungs. [more..]
