spontaneous cerebrospinal fluid leaks

I’m reaching out to neurologists, reserchers and patients,to find an answer to a truly dibilitating condition(SCF leaks) that my son has.Several years ago he went to th E.R. with an excrutiating headache.A resident proceded to perform a spinal puncure to releve the pain…only,he tried three times, not hitting the ‘right’ spot.

The outcome of the ‘botched’ procedure is that the fluid is leaking out of his spine and is not being replenished.By the end of each day, usually starting at 8:30/9:00pm, my son cannot function. He has to lie down in bed and has to take extremely strong pain killers and sleeping pills to survive the night. The medics cannot find the location of the leak, nor can they figure out why the fluid in his brain fluid is not replenishing itself.

I’ve told you what the problem is and as a mother,I want for my son to be able to live a normal life.I truly believe that there is someone out there that can help him,so that he dosn’t have to live his life in such pain and be heavily drugged.

Thank you for reading,
Ms. Libman
