I have been diagnosed with CPRS

I had a knee replaced June 23 2008. My knee is fine, but the lingering pain in the leg and foot is almost unbearable at times. I have had PT for a month, epidural injections to no avail and live on pain pills. And they call this living!! Every step I take is like stepping on thumb tacks. I was just told by my doctor that I will need the pills for the rest of my life. He will try to keep me comfortable.

I had surgery in March - by MH - (Thu, Oct 29 2009)
This has been just an absolute nightmare. I had my surgery on an out patient basis. The night of my surgery, I was in the worst pain I have ever experienced. Broken bones did not feel nearly as bad. My main problem turned out to be rectal abscesses that developed post op. I had two huge pockets of pus that circled my anus. [more..]
