To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Bladder Sling Surgery Woes Last December I had a sling surgery in order to eliminate the stress incontinence I had been living with for years. After surgery, I was not able to use the bathroom at all and had to cath myself every day for three weeks. My doctor decided that I needed to have the surgery done again to loosen the sling, which I did and since the 2nd surgery, cannot hold urine at all. My condition is worse than before the first surgery. I recently went back to my doctor who told me of another procedure which involves using collagen to bulk the urethra, which I’m considering because I’m desperate at this point. Has anyone had this procedure and if so can you tell me if it worked. I hate to go through another surgery, but need to have something done. Help if anyone has any feedback on this. November 2009
